The Sea Pines Racquet Club is open to the general public (reserve and walk on rates do apply for court time).  Already maintained and ready to play courts are free of charge to play on after hours which are currently 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST.  Starting in March, the pro shop hours will be 7:45AM - 5:30PM EST.

Shirts and proper clay court tennis shoes are required - NO RUNNING SHOES ALLOWED.

Why no Running Shoes on the Clay?

- no lateral stability. Very poor support for quick cuts and stop and go type movements. You will likely roll your ankle.
- poor durability for tennis type of movements.
- many running shoes will tear up the clay court surface because of their more "teethy" traction, making them virtually unplayable
